PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO THE EXECUTIVE HEADTEACHER

& CLERK TO GOVERNOR COMMITTEES

PART TIME PERMANENT CONTRACT

REQUIRED FROM 25TH MARCH 2019

21 hours per week | term time plus 10 days

Grade 5 Sp21-25 (£20,541 – £23,111) pro rata

PA to the Executive Headteacher: required from 25th  March 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The Governing Board are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our friendly and hardworking Administration Team in the role of PA to the Executive Headteacher.

Candidates should:

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to the Catholic ethos and the Mission of the school;
  • Maintain and demonstrate practice of a high, professional standard to support the EHT in their day to day leadership across the school and Teaching School Alliance;
  • Be an exceptional team member to achieve school improvement outcomes in line with the vision of the Executive Headteacher and Governors;
  • Have a clear knowledge and understanding of the systems that underpin the day to day running of the school and TSA. Attention to detail will be imperative.

Working days: Monday-Wednesday, 8:15am – 4:15pm, including 1 hr lunch break.

VACANCY

APPRENTICE LEVEL 2 FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

FULL TIME – ONE YEAR MODERN APPRENTICESHIP

REQUIRED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE 

£3.70 per hour

37 hours per week, year round.

The Governing Board of our successful and popular school are looking to appoint a modern apprentice to work and train in our school environment.

Our Apprentice Facilities Manager will work alongside the caretaker, site manager and other staff who will all provide mentoring and on the job training & direction.

Main Duties:

  • Support the maintenance of our outdoor learning environment, including our Urban Farm.
  • Assist in the provision of cleaning, related maintenance, safety and security to all communal areas as directed.
  • Support the creative upkeep of our displays and learning environment, which are both outstanding.

Skills required:

  • Be able to follow policies and procedures;
  • Show attention to detail, be friendly and approachable, adaptable, flexible and able to communicate effectively;
  • Be able to work on own initiative, managing own workload, whilst working within a busy team.
