Park & Walk
Our Park & Walk zone opens at 8:30am and 3:30pm each day. Please arrive promptly to avoid queueing along the roadside. Our staff will direct you to maintain safety. They will also wear a body-cam to protect all users. CCTV is in operation on the Park & Walk.
Park & Walk Code of Conduct
- Adhere to our one-way system to avoid any confusion and accidents, parking safely in the next available space, not blocking exit routes. Follow any parking instructions given by our site staff. Any damage caused to the school site or equipment must be paid for by the responsible party.
- Get out of the car and deliver your child safely to the staff at the cloakroom door. They must not return to the Park & Walk zone. If collecting, you must walk to the main playground, and not wait for your child to walk alone to your car, nor stand to wait or chat in the Park & Walk zone.
- When leaving the car park please do so in a safe way, and only after the published times (8:35am/3:35pm). Our speed limit is 5mph.
- Please do not enter the Park & Walk zone after 8.55am / 3:35pm to avoid collisions with cars leaving the area.
- We reserve the right to close the facility if staff are unavailable for duty.
- Permits must be displayed. Cars are left at the owners’ risk: School cannot accept responsibility for any damage to vehicles.
No car will be admitted to the Park & Walk area without displaying a valid permit in their windscreen. This means a permit showing the correct car registration plate and in the current colour of issue. This is to ensure that agreement has been made to follow our code of conduct and safeguarding arrangements. There is no pedestrian access through the upper playground when Park & Walk is in use, except for those walking to and from their car.
Note that having a permit does not guarantee access as spaces are restricted.
We reserve the right to withdraw permits and use of the Park & Walk to anyone who does not follow our code of conduct or behaves in an inappropriate way towards others.
