Over the course of the year, we hold events, often in partnership with our school, to reinforce the essential partnership between home, school and parish, working together within the one community of Sacred Heart.

“Duc in altum! Put out into the deep!” (Lk 5:4)

At the start of the new millennium, Pope John Paul II encouraged us to reflect upon Jesus’ words to the apostles, to ‘put out into the deep’ so as to gain a marvellous catch as the apostles had, to face the challenges of the future together. Our working together is rooted in this message, and aims to develop a working partnership between our parish and school as part of our Roman Catholic faith family, and to reach out to the wider local, national and worldwide community.

Thank you to all who supported the work of Sacred Heart Parish F.A.S.T. which was the community association for Sacred Heart School & Parish, Westhoughton. This has now been wound up. If you would like to be involved with future fundraising, please contact us.
