School Session Times

Although school opens for early arrivals from 8:30am, with morning reading and tasks, the school day begins at 8:55am.

School day: 8:55am-3:35pm

Total time in a typical week: 33h 20min.

• Playground / Park & Walk gates open: 8:30am & 3:30pm.
• Parents remain responsible for their children until they are handed over at the school door each morning. It is not advisable to leave your child on the playground as the site is not secure at this time of day.
• School doors open: 8:30am for early entry: pre- & post-learning & reading in class.
• School session times: 8:55am-3:35pm. (33h 20min / week)
• Playground gates close at 8:55am. Late entry after this time is via the main office.
• School finishes at 3:35pm.  Children in Reception, Y1 & Y2 should be collected from their classroom doors by a parent. Children in Y3 & Y4 leave via their class doors, and teachers accompany them to the collection points. UKS2 pupils leave via their cloakroom and make their way to find a parent on the yard. Anyone not collected is expected to immediately return to a member of staff.
• Please try to be on time to collect your child at the end of the day. If there is a problem and you are delayed, please inform the school.
• Security: At 3:35pm, Reception & Key Stage 1 children are handed over to a named adult. If you ever need to arrange for a friend or relative to collect your child from school, please inform a member of staff and ensure your nominated person knows your password.
• Anyone using the Park & Walk facility must park, leave their car, and walk their child to the door / collect in this way at end of day.
